Glad it is working all out for you. All the best every step of the way. Many thanks for stopping by my blog and for the follow.
Thank you! There are days where it feels like a long journey… I’m enjoying your blog, so thank you!
Glad you are doing well. It is indeed great to realize that there is life after the breakup and that life can be amazing if we dare to try! Best of luck and thanks for sharing snippets of your life!
And thank you for doing the same! I’m enjoying reading about another woman’s journey. We each have our own path, and so much to learn along the way! Your writing gives me new perspective on my own experience.
Thank you for following my blog! I look forward to learning more about your journey.
Thanks for dropping by! I’m looking forward to reading more of your writing!
Hello Sally!
My name is Christopher John Taylor, formerly of Victoria BC, now New York. My wife Kate and I run an online entertainment E-magazine, TheBOX. We just launched it on the first of July.
We are currently looking for writers to submit original content in specific categories like, Film, Television, Fashion and Music as well as Art, Books, Theater, Culture, Food and Travel and to intersperse that original content with our mainstream entertainment based offerings we post daily.
Thanks to Leslie at Bucket List we came across your work and liked it.
We’d like to invite you to write some articles for us to enhance both you and your blog’s reputation as well as promoting you as a writer.
If you’d be interested in this, we’d like to talk further. Please email myself ctaylor@htla973.com or Kate (Editor in Chief) ktaylor@htla973.com and we can set up a talk.
Looking very much forward and best regards,
Chris
Well I’ll be! Greetings fellow Victorian! Victori’ite? What’s the proper term?
It’s so funny how community works in the blogosphere, isn’t it? I’m always delighted when I come across somebody local!
You´ve got me hooked and gained a follower!
Why thank you!
I really enjoy reading your blog – the quotations and photographs give pause to thought. Just one thing – because Hornby Island is one of my favorite places in the world…and my favorite beach in the world is Whaling Station Bay….it is Whaling – and not Whalers – you scared me with that…thought I had been wrong forever. Thank you for writing and sharing.
Thank you for stopping by, Angela, and for your kind comments. I’ll have to go in and change the relevant blog posts so that I have the name right. It’s funny that I could be so sure about the name. A little fact-checking might be a good idea! I have a couple more Hornby Island posts coming soon. It’s one of my favourite places in the world too.
You have a beautiful blog here! I love your sense of adventure. The stories and pictures revolving around your sailing adventures – wow.
Thank you, Debra! After reading your recent “Back to School”post, I’m thinking it’s time to turn my hand to humour and recount last week at my house
Hi Sally . I came on the roundabout route through your old blog. I wish you all the best for your future. Ralph x
Hello Ralph, and thanks for finding your way to my blog. How interesting that you found my old blog first! I look forward to coming by and visiting your site!
Hello darling Delicious. Your old blog still comes up on emails…..wordpress again!! You are very welcome to return and give me a hard time with your comments. Must love you and leave you as it is 03:00 in Spain and time to sleep and dream. Ralph xx
Just wanted to let you know I have nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award. I wrote it’s because your blog is full of “Adventure and Gratitude seasoned with humor and love”. Keep those wonderful stories coming!
Denise, I am honoured. Thank you so much!
Oh you’re so welcome!! Thanks for being a bright spot on the web! (And I see we both enjoy the wit and humor from Ralph!
I heard that
Welcome – I’m inviting you to the Līgo Circle of Appreciation: http://esengasvoice.wordpress.com/2012/10/01/ligo-circle-of-appreciation/
Thanks so much for dropping by and for inviting me to join the Ligo Circle of Appreciation! How lovely of you to acknowledge me.
Just got up this morning to hear about a big earthquake overnight, off the west coast of Canada. Hope you are OK, Sally. I think from the news reports it´s further north of where you are, but still thinking of you.
How lovely of you to think of me, Marianne. The earthquake was further North, and thankfully it sounds as though nobody was hurt. But I arrived home last night from New Orleans to tsunami warnings. Something I couldn’t have anticipated when I started blogging was the way it would connect me to people around the world – and somehow make world events more real, more close to home.
You´re quite right – what a lovely bonus it is to have real connections to other bloggers around the world. People who, after time, you get to know, and really care about. I have even met up with a few of them
It´s a small world, really.
Glad everyone is OK, that´s the main thing.
((Hugs)) x
Sally—Is there any way I can talk you into reviewing a blog post of mine? It is outside my comfort zone and is not the crass stuff I typically write…800 words so not a big project. Beau
Actually, if anyone else wants to volunteer that would be appeciated too….
Hi Beau, I’d be happy to. Send me the details
I like the idea of seeing mid-life dating through a man’s perspective!
You are kind. Thanks! Can you click on my gravatar and send me an email? That way I can get it to you via “request feedback” feature…
…superb blog you have here!…im based in burnaby…just across the waters from you!
Burnaby! By blogging standards that’s practically spitting distance! Thanks so much for dropping by! I look forward to checking out your blog!
no probs!
Pingback: Bloggers for Movember – Le Clown’s Challenge | A Clown On Fire
Sally,
You and Tracy Fulks were the highest bidders, and you helped me reach $1000 in 24 hours for Movember. You will both win half of my mustache comes December… Congratulations… I think!
Le Clown
Le Clown, though I am delighted to be one of the winners of your Movember contest, and even more delighted about your successful Movember campaign, I’m not exactly excited about the prospect of receiving part of your moustache at the beginning of December… Given your stratospheric rise in blogging fame, I’m thinking that soon, you could auction those hairs one by one on eBay.
DD,
I could send them to another blogger. Would that be your wish?
Le Clown
Le Clown, I would be happy for you to send your esteemed whiskers to another blogger, but I would want them to go to somebody who would truly appreciate them. I hope you might have somebody in mind!
